What Happens after a Goal is Finished?

Learn about the process that takes place once a Goal is funded on Morgis. Understand how your Morgis are handled and what happens if a Goal reaches its objective or falls short.

• Escrow and Transfer: When you fund a Goal, your Morgis will be held in escrow until the Goal reaches 75% or more of its objective. Only then will the money be transferred to the Host to fulfill their dream.
• Refunds: If a Goal does not reach 75% by its end time, your Morgis will be promptly refunded back to your Morgis balance, ready for you to use again.
• Verification: We value the trust you place in our Hosts, and that's why we take verification seriously. Once a Goal is funded, the Host must provide proof (such as a picture or receipt) that the goal was achieved before they can create another Goal of any kind.
• Communication: Hosts can communicate with you through an automatically opened Chat Channel. They also have the option to send Goal Group list messages to all the Friends funding their Goal, ensuring you can stay connected and updated on their progress.
